Institution has well-established Alumni network. In the year 2020-21, the institution formally inaugurated the Alumni Association on 27th July 2020, and gave it a structure with president, secretary and treasurer. As of now, the association has 120 members actively interacting through union and social media. There is a constant interaction among the members on the job opportunities, government schemes available for start-ups, self-employment and achievements. They also share and discuss on competitive examinations and other career growth related aspects.
Alumni are the best ambassadors of educational institutions and prevailing culture. The association is formed to reconnect Alumni to college and to create a better network. The alumni association of the college is registered(DRMY/SOR/81/2022-2023) and functional. The association has a very good rapport with the institution. They are actively participating in various programs organized in the college.
The alumni association has the best practice of gifting clocks and speakers, donating books to the College Library. This shows their academic interest and concern for the new generation at large. They take initiation in sharing their academic and professional experiences with the fresh batch. Thus, motivating them for a better future. Every year association organizes get together. Association has also planned to provide free coaching for rural students aspiring to become Graduates. Both these projects of the association show the philanthropic and academic interests of the alumni. We have created a platform ‘Alumni Limelight’ in our academic college magazine ‘Ninnada’,many of our alumni look forward to provide wonderful articles to keep the flow intact.
Annual Alumni Meet is an event that is most looked forward to by all the alumni as in most of the years it was held on the Freshers’ Day. This gave Alumni a chance to walk down the memory lane. The institute is also proud of alumni, who have brought laurels to the institute through their achievements. The institute has a practice of providing job opportunities for alumni. Three of the Alumni are working as faculty in our institution..
Members are keen on helping the college in every possible way and never fail an opportunity to help in situations of need. Thus, the college has an association that is financially active and functional.
Alumni meet is not a one-time affair, in fact, every academic year series of activities are conducted in which Alumni are invited as guests on various occasions to ensure that the Alumni connect is seamless. The institute has been fortunate enough to have Alumni working in various companies coming to campus year after year to share their experience and boost up employment opportunities to the existing batch of students. Apart from placement, our existing batches of students also take up Projects and Internships in the company where our Alumni are employed.
